Engr. Wende, an indigene of Kwande, was born May 11, 1970 in Jos, Plateau State.
He started primary education at Demonstration Primary School, Makurdi in 1976 and completed in 1982, after which he attended Mt. St. Michael’s Secondary School, Aliade from 1982 to 1987. In 1991, the Engr. Wende was admitted into the Remedial School, Ahmadu Bello University, ABU, Zaria where he completed the program in 1992. He read Building Engineering at the same institution between 1992 and 1999, graduating with a B.Sc.
He has served in the Ministry of Works and Transport and later Ministry of Housing in Benue State from 2001 to 2015 where he rose from Building Officer II to Principal Building Officer a position he held until his appointment as Commissioner.
