Born on March 6, 1958 at Igumale, Benue State, Justice Itodo hails from Ado Local Government Area of Benue State.

He obtained his First School Leaving Certificate from Methodist Primary School Jos where he studied from 1966 to1972. He attended St. John’s College, Jos from 1973 to1977 where he obtained his WASC. He went ahead to attend S.B.S Ugbokolo from 1978-1979 to obtain his IJMB Certificate.

In 1979, he gained admission into University of Ife, Ile-Ife where he graduated in1982 with an LL.B, going on to the Nigerian Law School between 1982 and 1983 and graduating with a BL certificate.

Justice Itodo served with Nigeria Police, Kano during his youth service year as. He was also at various times co-Solicitor, Kaloma Ali, co-Solicitor John AA Ochoga & Co, as well as co-Solicitor, Itodo, Sule & Co.  He was once a Director of Litigation at the State’s Ministry of Justice, Makurdi. He is currently a Judge in the High Court of Makurdi.

Justice Itodo has travelled to Israel and India. A member of CMJA, he is happily married with children. He loves reading and farming.
