Benue State Commissioner for Works, Housing and Urban Development, Hon. Tiza Isaac Imojime Orya earlier today held a closed door meeting with the SETRACO management team stationed in Buruku to fine-tune the smooth commencement of the bridge construction.
The North Central City Boy Movement 001 along side the Executive Chairman of Buruku local government Council Hon. Raymond Zege Aondoakura was received and conducted round the site mapped out for the bridge construction by the SETRACO Area Manager, Area Manager Engr. Michel Razek alongside the Project Manager, Engr. Julien Al-helou.
The Area Manager while conducting the commissioner round the project site, explained that all paperwork for the commencement of the construction was in place, further stating that work was to commence as soon as possible.
Recall that the long yearned and awaited bridge by the Buruku people and other passengers plying the route due to incessant mishaps, that has claimed lives since time immemorial was recently awarded by the president of the federal Republic of Nigeria, Bola Ahmed Tinubu GCFR through the intervention of Benue sons including the SGF, Sen. George Akume with the contractor already on site.
The Works Boss was subsequently taken round some dilapidated public infrastructure in the area by the Council Chairman including the Buruku Beach Park, among others.
