The Economic and Financial Crimes Commission (EFCC) recently re-arrested Nigerian social media influencer and cross-dresser Idris Okuneye, popularly known as Bobrisky, for alleged abuse of the Naira. Bobrisky was taken into custody in Lagos after a recent investigation revealed that he was involved in naira spraying and mutilation at various events, which is against Nigerian financial regulations. The EFCC is committed to addressing this as part of its broader initiative to restore the dignity of Nigeria’s currency.

According to EFCC officials, Bobrisky was detained at their Lagos Command, where he is being investigated and is expected to face charges soon.
