GOVERNOR ALIA PAYS TRIBUTE TO LATE CHIEF OF ARMY STAFF, LAGBAJA

Governor Hyacinth Alia has paid tribute to the late Lieutenant General Taoreed Abiodun Lagbaja, Chief of Army Staff, who passed away Tuesday night in Lagos at 56.
Following the Presidency’s announcement, Governor Alia sent a condolence message to President Bola Ahmed Tinubu, lauding the late Chief of Army Staff’s pivotal role in maintaining national security and stability.
The Governor particularly acknowledged Lt. General Lagbaja’s commitment to restoring peace in Benue State through collaborative efforts with his administration.
He offered prayers for the Lagbaja family, the Nigerian Armed Forces, and the nation to bear this loss and for the deceased to rest eternally.
