Polycarp Kwahar

Justice Kwahar was born on the 12th of June 1965 at Ikyogen, Ikyurav-ya, Kwande local government where he comes from.

He had his early education at Army Staff School Zaria in 1978 where he obtained his First School Leaving Certificate; he attended Mkar College passed out in 1983 with a Teacher’s Grade II Certificate. He also attended ASCON, Badagry where he did a course in Management. He was to later attend the Benue Polytechnic, Ugbokolo from where he obtained a Diploma in Law in 1985.

In 1989, graduated from the University of Jos with an LL.B certificate proceeded to the Nigerian Law School and bagged a B.L certificate in 1990. He also later attended the Metropolitan Business School in U.K where he obtained an LL.M Certificate in 2012.

Justice Kwahar was engaged in private legal practice from 1991-1992, and became a Magistrate, serving in that capacity from 1992 to 2008,when he became Chief Registrar, High Court of Justice from 2008-2010. He has been a High Court Judge from 2010 till date.

Justice Kwahar has travelled to USA, U.K, India, Israel and South Africa.

Married with children, Justice Kwahar  likes to read Christian Literature and play Badminton
