Ugbor Describes Tinubu’s Government as Incompetent, Accuses NEMA of Collecting Millions of Naira from Him

By Iorbee Shityo

The member representing Kwande/Ushongo at the National Assembly, Hon. Terseer Ugbor has described the Government of Nigeria led by President Bola Ahmed Tinubu as an incompetent Government.

This is after National Emergency Management Agency (NEMA) led a delegation to distribute relief materials for IDPs and Vulnerable persons in Kwande and Ushongo Local Government Areas of Benue State.

Terseer Ugbor who felt aggrieved after the government of Benue State stopped him from diverting the materials, also accused NEMA of collecting millions of naira from him before releasing the materials.

Note that the letter from NEMA stated clearly that the state government was to bear the cost of transportation and other logistics of the approved materials from NEMA office to the point of distribution.

Terseer Ugbor was also humbly invited to note that the relief materials will be distributed directly to the affected persons by NEMA officials of the North Central zone in collaboration with State Emergency Management Agency (SEMA).

Why Terseer Ugbor bypassed the procedures and was offloading the materials in a private residence in Makurdi is the question he has failed to provide an answer to since he has been going from one media house to another.

While trying to register his frustration after the materials were distributed, Hon. UGbor ended up calling the federal government which led (through NEMA) the distribution of the palliatives as an incompetent Government.

He also said he had spent millions of naira, contradicting the letter from NEMA which content does not require him to spend a dime.
