NIGERIAN STUDENTS BEGIN RECEIVING RECEIPTS ON THEIR STUDENT LOAN PAYMENTS.
On 12th June, 2023 President Bola Ahmed Tinubu of Nigeria signed a bill allowing Nigerian students to apply for and receive student loans.
This came in the wake of serious economic hardships that the entire middle and lower classes of the country had been facing and are still facing now.
Students and their parents celebrated as they can now receive financial assistance during their time in university.
On 11th october, the loans started to pay out to the universities and students n have begun to receive receipts for the payment.
