Born on March 13, 1961 Chief Ageh attended Local Government Education Authority, LGEA, Primary School, Adum East, Obi Local Government Area from 1970 to 1975.
Thereafter, he attended Wesley High School, Otukpo from 1975 to 1980 and obtained the General Certificate in Education, GCE ordinary level.
Mr. Ageh proceeded to University of Maiduguri in 1980 where he graduated with a Bachelor of Science in Business Management in 1984.
He later attended the Ahmadu Bello University, ABU, Zaria and obtained a Master’s degree in Business Management in 1994.
After the mandatory youth service program which he accomplished between 1984 and 1985, Chief Ageh worked as Accountant II in the Benue State Ministry of Finance and Economic Planning from 1986 to 1988 before switching over to the private sector where he worked in several capacities at International Merchant Bank, 1988 to 1999; United Bank for Africa, UBA, 1999 to 2000, and Continental Trust Bank between 2001 and 2002.
He was appointed Special Assistant to the Governor of Benue State between 2005 and 2007 and elected Executive Chairman, Obi local Government Council, from 2008 till 2010.
Chief Ageh has received several awards from organizations as a mark of recognition for selfless service, attended various courses on leadership and also received training in several professional areas.
He is an Associate member, Nigeria Institute of Management (AMNIM) as well as Fellow of the Certified Institute of Management (FCIM).
He enjoys reading, travelling as well as interacting with people.
