BURUKU REP DONATES AGRIC PROCESSING MACHINES TO BOAST AGRICULTURE IN THE CONSTITUENCY

House of Representatives member for Buruku Federal Constituency, Hon. Engr. Kpam Jimin Sokpo has donated Gari Processing Machines and Maize Threshers to communities in Buruku Federal Constituency.

Hon. Sokpo who made this donation today in Buruku said the machines will go a long way in solving agricultural challenges in the Constituency.

Represented by his Senior Legislative Aide, Hon. Sokpo explained that the first batch of Gari Processing Machines are to be planted in the following locations:

i. Agwabi in Binev Council Ward
ii. Ashamena in Kusuv
iii. Nyamatsor in Mbaazagee

B. The first batch of Maize Threshers are to be planted at the following locations:

i. Mbaakura in Mbagen
ii. Mbaapen in Mbatie Development Area.
iii. Mbaikyongu in Mbalagh Development Area.
iv. Etulo

These machines will create local livelihood opportunities in Buruku Federal Constituency that will enable businesses and households to thrive in their local domains rather than be forced to migrate to overcrowded cities. And also create jobs and generate sustainable prosperity to reduce poverty in Buruku Federal Constituency and beyond.
