Wukari Diocese ordains 3 priests: Terzulum, Ogah and Bayero
The Catholic Diocese of Wukari ordains three Priests as it celebrates it’s 1 year Anniversary of Erection.
The 3 Catholic priests ordained in Wukari, Taraba State, Nigeria are:
Rev. Fr. Isaac Aondoseer Terzulum
Rev. Fr. Samuel Ogah and
Rev. Fr. Theophilus Gambo Bayero.
Terzulum is Tiv, Ogah: Etulo and Bayero: Jukun. The 3 tribes and many other tribes in Taraba had passed through varying degrees of ethnic clashes. To help promote peace, the Catholic Bishop of Wukari, Most Rev. Mark Nzukwein, during the ceremony, made sure the newly ordained Priests were culturally crossed-dressed in their diverse cultural attire. The Tiv dressed in Jukun attire, Jukun dressed in Tiv cultural attire while the other dressed in Etulo cultural attire. I was one to pass a message of peace and togetherness.
