Currently, the Benue State Universal Basic Education Board (SUBEB) is conducting a large-scale Computer-Based Test (CBT) as part of a recruitment drive to fill over 9,000 teaching positions. This initiative, running through October 28, 2024, is expected to process more than 74,000 applicants, and SUBEB has emphasized transparency throughout the selection process. The board’s Executive Chairman, Dr. Grace Adagba, noted that this CBT format provides immediate scoring and real-time feedback to candidates, helping to ensure fairness and efficiency.

Additionally, SUBEB recently celebrated staff achievements, with the board being honored for its ICT integration, and Dr. Adagba receiving the GovTech Trailblazers Award. These recognitions highlight SUBEB’s commitment to improving basic education standards through technology and dedicated service.
