Why February salary will be delayed and when it'll be paid

For federal employees on IPPIS a slight delay in their salary for the month of February 2025 is eminent as the FAAC (Federal Accounts Allocation Committee) meeting which precedes the payment ended in deadlock and suspended indefinitely, till further notice. The contention arose from an alleged unremitted revenue to the tune of N1.7 trillion.

The meeting will however be reconvened soon and salaries paid but when: That will likely be next week.
