Alia signs partnership agreement with Huawei to develop a ‘Smart Benue’

Governor Rev. Fr. Dr. Hyacinth Iormem Alia of Benue State has signed a landmark partnership with Huawei Technologies to develop a “Smart Benue.” The signing ceremony, held at Huawei’s headquarters in Shenzhen, China, marks a major step toward digitally transforming Benue State. The initiative aims to establish advanced digital infrastructure, fostering connectivity, modernizing public services, and enhancing security and economic development across the state. This partnership is expected to turn Benue into a hub of technological innovation, improve public services, and open up new opportunities for residents.
