List of Local Government Chairmen in Kogi State arising from the 2024 elections
In the Kogi State’s local government elections held on October 20, 2024, 21 new Local Government Area (LGA) Chairmen and 239 councilors were elected into office. The officials were chosen to represent their respective LGAs and wards across the state, marking a significant renewal of local governance aimed at addressing community needs and supporting grassroots development.

- Kogi LGA – Chairman: Aliyu Mohammed
- Lokoja LGA – Chairman: Suleiman Aliyu
- Mopa-Muro LGA – Chairman: Michael Ajayi
