- Father: Muhammad Abbas, Emir of Kano (his death when Inuwa was 15 years old left young Inuwa in the care of his brother, Abdullahi Bayero).
Career in the Kano Emirate:
- 1926: Appointed Turakin Kano and District Head of Ungogo by Emir Abdullahi Bayero (his elder brother).
- 1932: Became District Head of Minjibir.
- 1939: Promoted to Galadima Kano, succeeding his brother Abdulkadir dan Abbas, and appointed District Head of Dawakin Kudu.
- 1944: Became a councilor in the Kano Native Authority.
- 1952-1963: Served as a member of the Northern Regional Assembly, actively contributing to regional politics.
Influence and Character:
- Known for his piety, patience, and strong connection to the Tijaniyya Sufi order, under the guidance of clerics such as Shaykh Yahya Muhammad Naffakh.
Reign as Emir:
- Inuwa became the Emir of Kano in April 1963, succeeding his nephew, Muhammadu Sanusi, who abdicated following political controversies.
- His reign was short-lived due to his advanced age and fragile health. He passed away after ruling for only three months, making his tenure one of the shortest in the history of the Kano Emirate.
Succession:
- Inuwa was succeeded by Emir Ado Bayero, his nephew and son-in-law, marking the continuation of leadership within the Abbasid lineage of the Kano Emirate.
Legacy:
