There are 149 major cities in the Philippines. 33 are highly urbanized cities, there are 5 independent component cities and 111 component cities.This lists all 149 cities by region, with their province or geographic area, city classification and population from the 2024 Census of Population and Housing (2024 POPCEN). The PSGC page currently identifies the 149-city list and the latest PSGC publication is as of 30 June 2026.
