List of Ride Hailing Services in Nigeria

Ride-hailing landscape in Nigeria, after the exit of Uber.

Major/most active platforms

  • Bolt – Estonian-owned, present since 2017 (formerly Taxify); currently the largest player following Uber’s exit
  • inDriver – negotiated-fare model, popular for being cheaper than Bolt
  • LagRide – Lagos-focused
  • Rida

Motorcycle/bike-hailing

  • Gokada
  • ORide (largely scaled back in recent years)
  • Max.ng

Smaller or regional apps

  • Oga Taxi
  • Smart Ride
  • Gudride
  • Alpha 1
  • GLT
  • Jetride
  • Tripz
  • Go247
  • T-cab
  • Taxigo
  • 9ja
  • Cruise
  • MotionPlus
  • Gidicab
  • Soole
  • BudgetRide
  • Zkyte
  • Easy Taxi
  • Afro Cab
  • Say Taxi
  • ProTaxi
  • Enivo
  • Alakowe Taxi
  • Quick Ride
  • Anayer

Other/emerging

  • MyCoPilot (long-distance ride-sharing)
  • BetterDrive
  • YourRider (logistics/delivery-hailing)

A caveat: many of the smaller names above operate regionally or have uncertain current status — Nigeria’s ride-hailing space has seen a lot of churn, with apps launching and quietly shutting down. Bolt and inDriver are the clear survivors positioned to absorb Uber’s former user base.
