Njuwa is an annual fishing festival by the Buatiye (Bata) people Of Adamawa State, Nigeria.
Though there is no fixed date for the festival, it usually takes place when the level of the water in the lake subsides mostly between April.
Njuwa fishing festival attracts many people from within and outside the state.
The festival is a two-day event occasion with different traditional dances, competitive running, boa t rid ng, swimming, fishing etc.
