MAN UNITED APPOINT NEW MANAGER

Manchester United has appointed Ruben Amorim, formerly of Sporting CP, as their new manager. Known for his tactical prowess and high-energy playing style, the 39-year-old Portuguese coach replaces Erik ten Hag following a challenging season for United. Amorim, admired by managers like Pep Guardiola, has a reputation for guiding teams with innovative strategies and success, as seen in his achievements with Sporting Lisbon, where he led the club to its first Portuguese league title in nearly two decades.

Amorim’s contract at Manchester United is reportedly set to last until 2027. He will begin his new role on November 11, 2024, following a short transition period at Sporting.
