Yan Buki, also referred to as Yambuki or Yanbuki, is a place in Zurmi LGA, Zamfara State, Nigeria. Yan Buki in combination with nearby Dutsi forms the Yan Buki/ Dutsi Council Ward in Zurmi Local Governement Area (LGA) of Zamfara State. It is located at: Latitude: 12° 48′ 2″ N and Longitude: 6° 39′ 9″ E. The Köppen climate type for Yan Buki is: BSh : Hot semi-arid (steppe) climate.
Like many other places in the state Yan Buki underwent nviolent attacks by bandits. In November 2021 bandits sacked residents of Yan Buki and killed about seven persons, as well as kidnapping others during an attack on the community
