The latest Forbes rankings of America’s wealthiest individuals highlight the continued influence of Jewish entrepreneurs and business leaders in the nation’s economy. This year, seven Jewish Americans or Americans of Jewish heritage hold positions among the country’s ten richest people, reflecting their lasting impact across technology, finance, retail, and investment.
Leading the group is TikTok and Oracle owner Larry Ellison, who is currently the wealthiest Jewish American and one of the richest people in the United States. Meta Platforms founder and CEO Mark Zuckerberg follows closely behind. As the driving force behind Facebook, Instagram, and WhatsApp, Zuckerberg remains one of the world’s most influential technology executives. His wealth has surged alongside Meta’s strong financial performance and advances in artificial intelligence, securing his place among America’s richest individuals.
Google co-founders Larry Page and Sergey Brin also remain firmly in the top 10. The pair transformed internet search through Google’s groundbreaking technology and later expanded the company into one of the world’s largest technology conglomerates. Their continued ownership stakes in Alphabet have preserved their status among the nation’s wealthiest billionaires.
Former Microsoft CEO Steve Ballmer is another Jewish American in the top 10. After leading Microsoft for over a decade, Ballmer saw his fortune rise dramatically as the company’s market value soared. Today, he is also well known as the owner of the NBA’s Los Angeles Clippers and for his philanthropic initiatives.
Technology entrepreneur Michael Dell, founder and CEO of Dell Technologies, also ranks among the country’s wealthiest Americans. Dell built one of the world’s largest computer manufacturers before transforming it into a global technology infrastructure company through acquisitions and innovation.
Rounding out the Jewish representation in the top 10 is Michael Bloomberg, founder of Bloomberg L.P. and former mayor of New York City. Bloomberg’s financial information empire continues to generate substantial revenue, while his extensive philanthropic work has made him one of the world’s most prominent charitable donors.
